The San Rafael Youth Soccer club is run entirely by volunteers.
We need volunteers in the following specific areas each season,

Frequently Asked Questions
I paid my fee last year, volunteered and never got my refund?
The most common reason for this is because that you may not have known to notify the Volunteer Coordinator after you completed your hours. Send an email to Lauren or (415) 342-7871, with the following information: Year of Season, parent name, child's name, volunteer activity/date. If we can confirm these details, we will provide a refund. (Sadly, we cannot offer refunds indefinitely, so we will not consider requests for fees prior to the last season.)

How do I sign up to volunteer?
At manual registration (and a box on the on-line form) you were able to sign up for an area of interest under the Volunteer Section on the form.
We send out email requests for different jobs throughout the season. Please respond to these requests to fulfill your hours.
After you have completed your assignment, send an email to the volunteer coordinator at or (415) 342-7871 (Lauren) letting her know you completed the assignment. She will confirm and notify the Bookkeeper that a refund is due.
How are refunds issued?
A check will be mailed to the street address we have on record for your child.
You cannot apply volunteer refunds to next season's player fees.
If you would like to waive your volunteer fee, let us know and we'll put it towards our scholarship fund.
How long does it take for a refund to be issued?
We refund volunteer fees three times a season, 1st week of the season, mid-season, and 2 weeks after the season finishes. You should receive a check within 4 weeks, if not - call the Volunteer coordinator, (415) 342-7871 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
I signed up for a job but now I cannot do it, what should I do?
Contact the Volunteer Coordinator immediately with the position you need to be removed from. She will email you with choices of a new assignment. If there is less than one week to the task/event, it is your responsibility to find a replacement - and let Lauren know who is doing the job for you.
What if there are no volunteer positions available, what should I do then?
OK, so it could happen! In the event of no jobs available, simply email Lauren and let me know you are interested in volunteering but no dates are available. The Volunteer Coordinator will help you find a position.
