HIGH SCHOOL BOYS - MISA
Team Davies win 1st Place
Led by the fearless and talented Coach Davies the HS Boys team took First Place in the MISA Tournament. They had an undefeated season and showed their strengths at the Final against SRYSC HS Mazariegos Team. A fierce battle during the last game and a testament to excellent team work.
Congratulations to all the boys!

CHINCILLAS WIN MISA 2011
U12 BOYS - 1st Place!
SR5(Flores) U12 Boys - The Chinchillas won the U12 Championship against the top seeded team from West Marin 3 (Enclade). Gavin Stewart had a hat trick and Keaton Flores added two more to make the final score 5-2. The Chinchillas went 11-1 this season and the entire team contributed to the team's success this year. U14 BLUE ANGELS
MISA 2011 Champions!
In an exciting close to the 2011 Marin Interleague Soccer Alliance Tournament, a series of weekend games that concluded in the final playoff game on Sunday, November 6th, San Rafael’s U14 Girls – The Blue Angels – prevailed over Ross Valley with a score of 1 - 0.

Teams
All teams are co-ed. Each U6 team will play 3 v 3 games. Each U7 team will play 4 v 4. The number of players on the team roster is restricted to make sure that each player plays at least half of every game. Players are assigned to a team with children from all of San Rafael. We cannot guarantee friend requests. The teams will be organized in mid August.
Games/Practices
Games and practices begin on Saturday, April 2nd through Saturday, May 14th. (except 4/23) Parents must arrive 10-15 minutes early to check in and find their coach and team. This will allow your child to be able to warm up and be ready for the training session and the game that follows.
SATURDAYS
Under 6 at 9 am– 10:30 am
Under7 at 11am–12:30pm

TEAMS
The U8 , U9 and10 teams are gender specific, boys and girls. Under 8’s play 5 versus 5, with a maximum of 9 players per roster. Under 9 and Under 10 teams play 8 versus 8 on a larger field with larger goals than the younger age groups.
Players are assigned to teams with children from all over San Rafael. We cannot guarantee friend or school requests. The teams are formed a few weeks before the season starts.
PRACTICES
Each team will have one mid-week practice. The day, time and location of practice is determined by each individual coach and based on available space at San Rafael City School fields. Practices START the week of March 21st at SR school fields.
GAMES
There are games April 2nd, April 9th, April 16th, (NO GAMES APRIL 23rd) April 30th, May 7th and May 14th. Games are played on Saturdays – schedule varies between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Arrive at least 15 minutes early to check in with the coach and to please pick up your child on time. Coaches do not stay late. Be prompt!
It is a SRYSC club rule that all players play one half of each game. We do not tolerate any violations of this rule. 50% play per child is main reason for restricting the amount of players per team.

TEAMS
The U12/U14 teams are gender specific. Under 12/14 teams play 11 v 11 on a larger field with larger goals. Rosters have maximums that allow the opportunity for everyone to play 50% of every game.
Players are assigned to teams with children from all over San Rafael. We cannot guarantee friend or school requests.

One is a TEAM practice day, time and location of practice is determined by each individual coach and based on available space at San Rafael City School fields. The second is a clinic format. Practices START the week of August 23rd at SR schools and Pickleweed Park.
Games
Games are scheduled from are 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. at Venetia Valley School Games are weekends- APRIL 2ND, April 9TH, April 16th, (NO GAMES APRIL 23RD) April 30TH, May 7TH and May 14th. (make-up games due to rain will be rescheduled for May 21ST)

The SRYSC uniform consists of a royal blue and white reversible shirt with the SRYSC logo, matching blue shorts and royal blue soccer socks. All players must wear hard plastic shin guards under their socks. (no baseball cleats)
U12 and up
NEW UNIFORMS**
The NEW SRYSC U12 – HS uniform consists of a new design royal blue jersey with the SRYSC logo, matching blue shorts and royal blue soccer socks. All players must have a number, it does not matter what number it is, T&B will iron it on for free.
All players must wear hard plastic shin guards under their socks. (no baseball cleats)
